International Innovation and Sustainability Championship – Tokyo 2025
We are very proud to share that Alicia González, our English Coordinator, represented our school this August at the International CODED Championship in Tokyo, a global event that brought together students from eight countries to showcase innovative STEAM projects.
Each year, our school participates in international challenges in the USA and Europe, reaffirming our commitment to innovation, sustainability, and global collaboration. The Tokyo 2027 edition is already on our horizon with great enthusiasm.
This year’s championship focused on sustainability, aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals —particularly SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities) and SDG 15 (Life on Land). Since February, student teams developed community-impact projects, from identifying real problems to designing and implementing creative solutions.
During her time in Tokyo, Alicia participated in workshops on robotics, coding, 3D printing, and sustainability, while also engaging in a rich cultural exchange with teams from around the world. Out of 32 final projects, three received funding for further development.
We are truly proud to have Alicia as part of our team, leading and inspiring our community with her global vision and commitment to meaningful learning.
