Creative Writing Excellence: SND Student Honored by ESU

On Saturday, June 13th, our talented student Paloma Crespo proudly represented our school at the prestigious English-Speaking Union (ESU) Creative Writing Competition, held at La Maisonnette in Vitacura.

Competing in the Senior category alongside some of the best young writers in the country, Paloma’s journey began with an exclusive welcome workshop led by renowned author Laura Wippell. Inspired by the session, the participants were challenged to craft an original story based on a specific prompt. Paloma beautifully combined the strategies learned in the workshop with her exceptional linguistic skills, advanced vocabulary, and brilliant imagination to bring her narrative to life.

We are thrilled to announce that Paloma’s outstanding work earned her a place among the Top 10 participants nationwide. During the awards ceremony, she received a diploma honoring not only her excellent writing but also this remarkable milestone in her academic journey.
